AllWebMenus v2.0 brings Cross-Browser Web Site Navigation to a New Era

By Anonymous

Likno Software is pleased to announce the release of AllWebMenus v2.0, the second generation follow-up to its very successful predecessor AllWebMenus. AllWebMenus v2.0 is the web site navigation solution that allows the design of complex web menus in a totally visual and friendly way. Web developers are now able to enrich their web sites with impressive script-based navigation menus without the knowledge of a single DHTML or Javascript command.

AllWebMenus resolves all existing DHTML incompatibilities across the DHTML-enabled browsers (IE, NN, Opera, etc.) and offers peace of mind to the professional web developer by producing truly cross-browser navigation menus. This process is transparent to the web developer who enjoys the design of cool navigation menus without bothering for the technicalities lying behind.

AllWebMenus was introduced and became popular because of its easy and friendly way in which users create menus using an intuitive WYSIWYG technique. The new version of 2.0 brings in new functionality and a large number of added features.

AllWebMenus v2.0 allows the web developer to assign a large number of properties to the menu and its entities. To mention some, the menu can be vertical or horizontal, it can be movable, stay visible while scrolling, contain static or animated images, borders, colors and much more. There is also a collection of predefined styles in the Style Gallery that can help you build a menu very fast by letting the Style Gallery take care of its appearance. Finally, a valuable new feature that we believe will be greatly appreciated by the professional web designer is the ability to use javascript commands on every possible event triggered by any menu element.

In addition to its menu-design capabilities, AllWebMenus uses a simple, step-by-step process that makes it easy to compile and link menus to the web in only seconds. There is even a solution for older browsers that do not support DHTML; an alternative (menu-free) web page can be optionally specified so that these browsers are automatically redirected there.

AllWebMenus v2.0 also includes:

- Full Frame support and capability for multiple menus on the same page.
- Full and transparent collaboration with Templates, Libraries, FrontPage Shared Borders, and more.
- Two flexible ways for exact menu positioning; relative to window corners or relative to any page element.
- Complete help for all properties and commands, plus context-sensitive help.
- A Live Example for every single property demonstrating its specific function and form.
- Complete control on the behavior of each individual submenu by specifying How, When and Where it opens.
- Three different item states available for each feature: the [Normal, [Mouse Over and [Mouse Click state.

AllWebMenus has been well received by both customers and reviewers, with favorable reviews coming from Tucows, WDVL, WebAttack and many others. The best way for someone to realize the richness of the AllWebMenus design capabilities is to look at some menu samples located at http://www.likno.com/examples.html

AllWebMenus v2.0 costs $59.95 for a single-user license and is available for Windows 95/98/ME/2000/NT/XP. The produced menus are functional in all DHTML-enabled browsers. The price also includes free customer support by extremely well trained and friendly personnel. The trial version can be downloaded from the Likno Software site, at http://www.likno.com.
